Winter in Iceland has a magic of its own. The clean white snow sets the perfect scenery for photos. One way to travel along the snowy landscape in Iceland, is to go on a dog sled ride. Not only is it fun and packed with adventure, but it also gives you the perfect opportunity to take in the scenery in a active way. Dog sledding in Iceland is fast becoming a very popular holiday choice for foreigners around the world.

There are more things to do in Iceland during winter than just dog sledding. You can also go horseback riding, camping, fishing, river rafting, snowmobiling, kayaking, ice climbing and hiking and skiing.

Iceland largest ski resort is called Blafjoll. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an experienced skier, this resort caters for all. This resort if perfect for a family winter skiing holiday and will be a true experience.

Snowmobiling is also a great way for you to see all the beautiful sights Iceland has to offer, while adding a touch of adventure and adrenalin. This is a great way to tour the area and will be a great day activity for the entire family.
